Hi, I’m Rob, TopScore author, interview coach and a proud member of one of the greatest traditional trades on earth. After 20 years I still jump out of bed to go to work in excitement for what the shift might bring. I have the great privilege of being a Captain on Engine 16 and also a member of Local 149

Mike and I have spent the last 20 years uncovering the most successful firefighter interview skills and then organizing them into a simple to understand process called the TopScore Top Five. The process has resulted in hundreds of successful interviews and saved candidates years of trial and error.

My favorite part about coaching is the phone calls I get after a candidate gets the job offer. I’m dedicated to leaving the fire service better than when I started and one of the best ways I can do that is by helping the next generation of firefighters secure the job they’ve always dreamed of.
