Shan Suthaharan

Dr. Shan Suthaharan is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, USA. His research interests fall predominantly under the state-of-the-art themes of big data analytics and machine learning. Dr. Suthaharan is also interested in exploring software engineering models and designs to support big data analytics and machine learning research. He is an inventor of a key management and encryption technology that has been patented in Australia, Japan, and Singapore. Dr. Suthaharan also received several research awards and visited highly prestigious universities, such as Emory University (USA), UC-Irvine (USA), UC-Berkeley (USA), University of Sydney (Australia), and University of Melbourne (Australia).
