David Fetter

David Fetter was born in Norman, Oklahoma in 1959—but he didn't stay for long. Starting at three months of age, he traveled the world wherever his father's job in the U.S. Navy's Naval Security Group took his family. This led the Fetter clan to various places—some exotic and some not so exotic—California, Wyoming, Cyprus, Turkey, Maine, Adak Island, Alaska, Okinawa, Scotland and finally, Florida where his father retired from the service.

After his father's retirement, like a boomerang (or a bad penny), the family returned to the place of his birth where he graduated from high school and the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in History. He began working at thirteen as a carhop and has held positions as a cashier, appliance deliveryman, insurance salesman, student teacher, bookseller and bookstore manager, stock and oil futures daytrader, bookkeeper, web designer, textbook writer, and book designer.

David has a grown daughter and a son. He lives with his wife and their dog Moose.
