Steven Faramelli

Steven Faramelli is an author and artist living in northern Indiana. He grew up in a small town in Illinois near the Mississippi River. Living a block from the town's library helped establish his love for reading at a young age. He first discovered he had an interest in writing after taking a science fiction writing course at a College for Kids summer session while he was in seventh grade. After receiving a BFA in Illustration, he went on to a career in graphic design that took him to several states. He rediscovered his love for writing while taking the train to Chicago from the suburbs for work, and began writing his first novel longhand on those rides. When he isn't writing he can be found fishing, drawing or painting, restoring his 1978 Volkswagen bus, or at one of his children's sporting events.
