Kobzar Lizardhands

Kobzar Michael Lizardhands was born in Brody, Ukraine and immigrated to rural Alberta, Canada at ten years old. Like his ancestors for countless generations before him, he grew up working the land. Teaching his own traditions and learning those of his neighbours gave KML an appreciation for Canada's rich cultural diversity.

The differences—and occasional shocking similarities—of cultures around the world is something that grips KML's interest and makes its heartfelt way into his writing. His debut novel, WITHOUT REASON, explores this passion: mythologies, folklore, approaches to life's hardest questions, and more.
