I have always dreamt of being a writer, have even taken an online course for writing children's books, and had a poem published when I was younger. I have been reading since I was very young, books were for me an escape into different worlds, I could be any character, in any city, at any time. Books are amazing things! Sadly, when I got older, I let the "real world" intrude and decided I should be more practical, so I worked "real world" jobs most of my career. At the intense, but loving urgings of my sister and my husband, I decided to go back to my dream of writing and "Treasures of the Heart" is the long awaited result! I still work a "real world job" for now, but money or not, writing is a deep, soul-satisfying adventure for me! Some of my favorite authors are Agatha Christie, Stephen King and Dean Koontz. While "Treasures" is a mystery romance, I look forward to branching out into more mystery themed stories/books and perhaps a horror/science fiction book as well! At this time I share our home in Colorado with my husband Mark, our two crazy dogs and even crazier five cats! Happy Reading!
