Karen Casey

Karen Casey is an author and freelance writer from regional Victoria, Australia. She wrote for newspapers and magazines around Australia and overseas before turning her focus to fiction. Karen studied under award-winning author Alex Miller and more recently received a High Commendation in the Bert van Bedaf Memorial Award for Best Short Story. Karen's first full-length manuscript was long-listed for an Australian Vogel Literary Award. The Extraordinary, Unordinary Gum Tree is Karen's first children's title. It is printed in Victoria, Australia, by Ingram Spark.
