No different than many other writers, I was lured to reading, and later writing, by the smell of ink and paper. A new book meant a new adventure and today putting the first words on a page means the same thing.

As a creative, who must create, I share some of my journeys with assorted media in an autobiographical work titled "Red Splashes." Rendered, in color, are reproductions of some of my paintings and stone sculptures, along with mural work. This book also contains a small collection of short stories, memoir in nature, and poems.

In "It's Not Over," my co-author and I, give he/she fictionalized versions of how active seniors pursue online dating, as they continue to enjoy life, while looking for that special someone. Our characters enjoy fine wine and dining, romantic encounters, cultural experiences and even a foreign travel venue. Because we've combined our talents as artist/writer and singer/songwriter, we've sprinkled reproductions of art, poems, and song lyrics throughout the book.

Knitted Words, Poetry is a work comprised of memoir-like poems written throughout my life's journey.

Working with fiber arts is one of my passions and, as a result, I'm putting together a book, for intermediate knitters, that reveals off-the-wall solutions to knitting calamities. Each essay is accompanied bya collage.

Looking back has compelled me to produce a sizeable stack of memoirs, a work in process.

My mantra and encouragement to others is "It's Not Over . . . even when you think it is."
