David B. Lyons

David B. Lyons is an international bestselling author and screenwriter from Dublin, Ireland.

He has been a number one bestselling novelist in Ireland, the UK, Canada and Australia.

In 2025, Lyons signed what was believed to be the largest publishing deal ever offered to an Irish author for a single novel. The figure of that deal was not publicly disclosed but was offered for the audiobook and TV/Film rights to his highly-anticipated tenth novel, The Eternal Life of Albert Money.

Lyons writes in trilogies, though each of his novels can be considered standalone stories.

The Tick-Tock Trilogy included international bestselling book Whatever Happened To Betsy Blake? That was followed up with The Trial Trilogy - three court-cases told from the perspective of the jurors. The America Trilogy - written between 2020 - 2022 and which focused on how we consume our news media - was labelled "a modern masterpiece" by The Book Literati

Lyons' next trilogy, which will kick off with The Eternal Life of Albert Money, will be an imagining of people's beliefs in different afterlives.

An award-winning journalist before he landed his first publishing deal in 2018, Lyons grew up in Dublin but currently resides in Kings Heath, UK, with his wife Kerry and their daughter Lola.
