Reading has always been my reprieve from real life, allowing me to travel and dream in ways that were otherwise impossible. Many of my fondest childhood memories are sitting with my mother, listening to her read books that were well above my reading level. Her dedication allowed me to become to reader that I am today, a voracious and prolific consumer of the written word.
I always knew that, someday, I wanted to be on the other side of things. That I wanted to write something that other people could read and enjoy. With my debut novel, Unmasked, I have finally achieved that lifelong goal.
In life, I've succeeded beyond what I deserve, fallen to depths I could not have imagined, and emerged on the other side as a better person for it.
