I am Samantha Lady, writer of YA fiction. I write books about the difficulties teens go through, especially neglect and abuse issues. I find that teens secret away the bad they endure, and as young adults they explore ways to survive that bad. I write, so they know they are not alone. Maybe one of my books will inspire them to explore themselves, and use the bad as a springboard to create their world around them, on their terms. They should be celebrated, not tolerated.
