Rolando Avila

Rolando Avila holds a Master of Arts degree in History and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Texas-Pan American. He is currently a Lecturer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. His most recent books include University of Texas-Pan American: The First 75 Years, 1927-2002 (2020); Lincoln and the Bolts of War (2018); and The Civil War Era and the Lower Rio Grande Valley: A Brief History (2018).
