I'm a writer who lives in Toronto, and I write both fiction and non-fiction. My latest book is BABE RUTH - A Superstar's Legacy (www.baberuthlegacy.com) which has just been released on Amazon. It's available in print and as an e-book. My research on Ruth goes back many years to my first novel Gift of the Bambino (St. Martin's Press, 2004). That was a coming-of-age story about a young boy, and how he and his grandfather were bound by baseball and the spirit of Babe Ruth. I later met Ruth's grandson Tom Stevens and told him about my idea to write a book about the legacy of the Babe. Tom has written the Foreword to the book and the Ruth family has provided photos. BABE RUTH - A Superstar's Legacy is not a biography, but the first book to explore the legacy of Ruth on many different fronts, both in and beyond baseball.
Along with that we have produced a series of Babe Ruth Legacy Interviews with people who are involved in preserving that legacy. You can find out more about that on the website.
My novels include Gift of the Bambino, and two works of historical fiction. QUMRAN, released in 2015, is about an archeologist who makes a dramatic discovery in the Holy Land. (Qumran is where the Dead Sea Scrolls were first discovered in the late 1940s). The Last Witness, released in 2014, is about the last living survivor of the Holocaust in a near-future world that is ignorant of history. To make my point, I produced a video in which we interviewed university students. We asked them questions about World War II, and the video has gone viral around the globe. You can see it here ...

I am currently writing another historical novel about the Iroquois and the huge role they played in shaping North America.
