Drue M. Scott

Drue M. Scott was born in Sarasota, Florida, but raised in several states across the U.S. The state that will always be home for him however, is Alaska. His love for the outdoors and the inspiration it provides him, regularly appear in the stories he tells. Starting as early as third grade, Drue fell in love with expressing himself through poetry. With encouragement from his teachers he was led into more exploratory writing, such as journaling, and deeper creative writing, such as fiction novels.

His style can be graphic and jolting at times, but tender and love-focused as well. Primarily a writer for the adult reader, Drue's abstract perspective on topics translates well into fictionalized characters and environments that draw the reader in. It is his belief that stories are truly transportive.
