Nathaniel C. Bek

While not classically trained, Nathaniel Bek was selected editor’s choice for poetry in Phoenix – Art & Literary Magazine and was a semi-finalist for Eber & Wien. Their full length poetry collection “Atrophy of the Boy Who Became a Wishing Well” is forthcoming from 3 Mile Harbor Press. They have competed nationally for Spoken Word at the National Poetry Slam and Individual World Poetry Slam. They were the organizer, and host for “Get Lit,” a literary series, that was nominated for Best of Orlando. Through this series they wanted to bring poets from all walks of life together and expose various artists from different facets of the poetry community. Nathaniel has also assisted with various youth programs to help expose them to writing and poetry.
