B. Blanc was raised and lived in Idaho for 30 years. In1978 she packed up the kids, dog and cat and drove the Alaska/Canadian (ALCAN ) highway to Fairbanks, Alaska. After surviving -50 degree weather, nine months of winter and 12 feet of snow for 18 years she relocated to Soldotna, Alaska. A commercial salmon fisherman during the summer months in Bristol Bay Alaska in the Bering Sea, living and working in such a remote area is fun to her. She enjoys sport fishing, horse back riding, reading, long walks with her little dog Romeo, traveling the world, meetings and making new friends, and keeping in touch with old friends. A love of cars that are old and new, but most important fast ones. Four grown children, 13 grandchildren and one grandson in law. Life is an adventure to be lived.
