K.J. Evans

K.J. Evans is a writer & poet that published her first book, "Arbitrary", March 21, 2018. She was born and raised in a small town in Alabama. She loved to write, even as young as the age of six years old. Growing up, she always enjoyed the literature that other students deemed “boring”. Poetry quickly became her safe haven that she could escape to. K.J. seeks to liberate the youth that struggles with the same, difficult experiences that she did. Through her writing, she wants to let people know that they are not alone, and they will always have the support and therapy that poetry brings. "Arbitrary: Poetry & Prose" pulls information from her late youth up until her present young adult life. Her blunt, yet powerful words include topics such as heartache, anxiety, depression, sexuality, sexual harassment, & more. K.J. Evans still currently lives in Alabama and is currently attending university. Along with her busy studies, she is still writing as much poetry every spare second she gets.
