A.K. Patch
A.K. Patch is the author of the Apollo Series Trilogy including PASSAGE AT DELPHI, DELPHI’S CHOSEN, and JOURNEY FROM DELPHI. He is a radio guest on multiple stations nationwide, and on television in San Diego, California.
With history as a passionate guide, and an eye towards the future, A.K. weaves a roller coaster ride in his historical fiction novels that are part thriller, romance, and epic adventures involving time-travel.
On the Board of the Friends of Classics at San Diego State University and a History Fair Judge for San Diego County, A.K. Patch sees the foundation of the past in the continuing saga of how human nature plays out in the challenges of the present day. This provides the fertile ground for his writings and radio series PATCHES OF HISTORY.
He is a retired U.S. Navy Captain, enjoying his many years in Naval Hospitals and deployed on an active and Reserve status with the U.S. Marine Corps. After receiving a B. S. degree in biology from Boston College and DMD from Tufts University, he spent 32 years in private practice in San Diego.
When not dreaming up plot while he swims laps, A. K. enjoys hiking, biking, and relishing the Southern California weather with his wife, Nancy, and two children.
