Leon Fletcher

I was an Under Twenty three World Champion quad sculler and later a silver medallist at the Commonwealth Regatta in Canada. I graduated in Philosophy and Psychology getting a first in Modern European Philosophy, concentrating on Hegel.

I have been a Rowing Coach, a builder and plasterer. I have lived for ten yers in India and speak fluent Hindi. For the last eight years I have been involved in supporting people with Learning difficulties with Mencap.

I am currently working on a series of books about becoming. Becoming is a central idea in Hegel and is very much what life is as subjective beings.

I have become a born again Christian and becoming is very much part of the New Testament.

I enjoyed writing the sculler as it brought out a theme of becoming but I am looking forward to writing further books bringing that concept to the fore.

I have also been contacted about some freelance writing.
