Michael Dean Basch is a successful entrepreneur having been involved in over a dozen business start-ups. The most well known is in the early days of Federal Express where he was a Senior Vice President for their first ten years.
During his tenure there, he invented the bar code tracing system, set up the sales, service and pick up and delivery systems, built the FedEx Superhub and founded their logistics division. FedEx founder called Basch "the consummate problem solver." He has a history of intuitively driven business solutions.
After leaving FedEx, Basch was the author of "CustomerCulture," published by Prentice-Hall, 2003. He is an internationally known speaker having shared the platform with Donald Trump and many other better known personalities.
During his tenure with FedEx and other entrepreneurial ventures, he realized that intuition is the core of business decision making, especially when pioneering a new order of things. As a result, he embarked on a seven year research project to learn more about the power of intuition. As part of that process, he interviewed over 80 people from all walks of life and put together a three part book series as well as a flip book course on developing intuition.
Basch lives with his wife Karen in Englewood, FL. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
