Anne Polli

Born and raised in Northern California, award-winning author, Anne Polli, spent over thirty years in and around the horse industry. After studying Animal Science at UC Davis, she bred Thoroughbred horses for the show ring. She also spent much of that time traveling the western US as part of the show staff at hunter/jumper shows, a job that inspired her first novels; the Silver Shores Series.

She particularly enjoys writing strong women characters, or those that manage to find strength within where they believed there was none. She also enjoys the challenge of tackling moral or ethical dilemmas in such a way that the reader draws their own conclusions rather than be led to a particular way of thought.

She is excited about her recent collaboration with her daughter, Ryan, on a series of children's books promoting love, courage, and acceptance of one's self and others.

Anne lives in rural Northern California with her husband and a rescued fox red Lab and tough-as-nails cat. She is thankful for the continued support and encouragement of her family.
