Paula Jeffery was born in 1955, in Coventry, UK. By her own account she was a late starter, gaining a degree in Creative Writing in 2012 and beginning an exciting journey into art in 2014.
Her first book, published in 2011, was a collection of her genealogical research in respect of her Rainbow family, Chasing Rainbows. Then came two collections of drawings: Dog Days and 61 Rabbits.
In 2018 she published a collaboration with her gg grandfather Edwin Rainbow (1851-1916). He wrote the words and she supplied new illustrations to his 1916 guidebook, Walks Thro' Coventry.
Also in 2018 Paula published Viper, a non-fiction book about narcissistic abuse. Although narcissism can be a factor in romantic relationships, this book explores the degree of abuse often found in families, 'friendships' and work environments. Most of us know a narcissistic but we may not be able to identify and name the behaviours. Reading this book you may experience an 'aha' moment as the actions of your family member or friend are explained.
In late 2018 and 2019 came two childrens' books. Too Big for Bunnies, a gentle exploration of the expectations we place on little boys and Wanda and the Wrong Spell, a story imagined by her 5 year old granddaughter. Both books were written and illustrated by Paula.
Also in 2019 a short collection of Paula's poetry was published, Sweet & Sour. This was followed by a series of journals, logbooks and notebooks published under the Harefield Press imprint.
Paula is currently working on a romantic fiction novel.
