M.A. Garrett

M.A. Garrett was born in a small town in West-Central Georgia. Raised in between the homes of her divorced parents and her grandparents, she had an unusual upbringing filled with many larger than life characters. At the age of five she begged to be taught to read, and it began an enduring relationship with the written word. Her imagination was unleashed in the confines of each book as she relished each letter and the words came alive in her mind. From the day those words began to make sense, she knew she wanted to be a writer.

For many years life took her down other paths, but they always lead her back to her passion. It wasn't until she met her husband that her dream seemed to be brought into her reach. W.B. Garrett, her co-pilot in life, and her co-author professionally, brought with him a plethora of ideas, each more creative than the last, and served as a catalyst to her finally being able to find the closed off door to her creativity. Marriage was just the beginning of what will surely be a long and fruitful partnership, in life and between the pages.
