I was born in Fort Gordon, Georgia and spent my early years moving between Army bases in Germany and around the US. I went on to study at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and loved the city so much I ended up living there another ten years.
I started programming freshmen year of undergrad. I bombed a MatLab course, but thought it was more fun than working in AutoCAD. I switched from Mechanical Engineering to Computer Science and never looked back. Since then, I've been working in the industry with a lot of experience developing web applications. Today, my main professional interests are, like many others, shifting to AI.
I like reading anything that makes me think about something in a different way, especially works in World History and Science Fiction.
