Thom has been writing satire for more than 25 years. He started working as a musician at sixteen with his good friend Tony Colon. He continued to perform on and off with different bands for years to come. Moving from northern Virginia to Norfolk and Virginia Beach, working different jobs while still pursuing music he met his wife of more than 30 years, MJ Barnett, who insisted they vacation in and then move to Sedona, Arizona. Settling in Cornville and with his music career seemingly behind him he had the fortune of meeting Sasha Cederlund, who was living with Morris K Horowitz. She introduced them and the four quickly became lifetime friends. Morrie asked Thom to join him in a business venture. They started a monthly satirical publication Sedona Excentric. Morrie passed away after four and a half years of sharing his brilliant, twisted mind with the world in the paper. Thom stayed the course and continued to publish the Sedona Excentric for 25 years, and to this day publishes online at ExcentricWorld.com. Thom finally retired the hard copy and turned some of his columns into books - Frankly Fanny, My Chupacabra Ate My Homework and now Astrology For The Weak. In the meanwhile, he has recorded 2 CDs (also available through Amazon, com) and continues to write music.
