Eric McGough

Eric McGough was born 1942, Stockport, in the north of England. He was a lead guitarist with several bands in the 50's and 60's. His claim to fame from those heady days was standing in for Black Sabbath when they were booed off stage at the Shamrock Club, Oldham, Manchester. As the support band, his band had to extend their set to cover for the dismissed star act. (The shamrock was an Irish club and it was Saint Patrick's night. Black Sabbath came on stage wearing priest's frocks and dog collars!)

Eric has had a life-long interest in the occult - mostly the Ageless Wisdom Teachings (see his website http://www.ericmcgough.com. He loves science fiction and fantasy and reads every day. As it was with music, where he just had to play and perform the songs that he loved, so it is with books; His reading inspires him to write. Now that he is retired, Eric can express his love for the genre and hopefully inspire his readers as he has been.
