Steven Andrew Jacobs

Steven Jacobs, a native of Wilmington, North Carolina, was captivated by history from a young age. His fascination was nurtured by his father, who introduced him to classic movies featuring legendary actors like Cary Grant, John Wayne, Henry Fonda, and Steve McQueen. This early exposure sparked Steven's passion for history, particularly the turbulent years of the early to mid-1900s, and his love for military history began to bloom.

Later in high school, Steven excelled in United States history, especially in the turbulent years of the early to mid-1900s, and this is where his love for military history flourished. By the time Steven was thirty-five years old, he had read countless books on United States history with a focus on the era of World War II.

At the age of forty-five, Steven penned his debut book, The Disappearance of U-491, a gripping tale about a German U-boat vanishing during World War II. The experience of writing this book was so fulfilling that he decided to continue, culminating in the completion of his fourteenth book. This impressive body of work is a testament to his dedication and love for historical fiction.

Now, at the age of fifty-three, Steven lives in Columbia, South Carolina. He has worked for the government for fifteen years.
