Steven Beatty

Steven Beatty lives in central Ontario, Canada and is married with two kids. Professionally, he works as a Registered Nurse in the home care sector assisting members of the community access supports, make a move into long-term care and, navigate the often complex healthcare system. Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Victoria.

Steve is part of a Huntington's disease family himself and received a positive result on his HD predictive genetic testing in 2015. Since that time, he has developed a passion directed at advocating for the Huntington's disease community.

Steve is a wannabe guitar hero and is sad every day that he lacks the patience actually to practice.
