Randall Reyman

Randall Reyman is a writer, musician, composer, and retired college professor.

For over 40 years he has pursued a wonderful life as a college professor, teaching primarily in the areas of jazz education and instrumental music. He has been active as a classical and jazz trumpet player throughout his adult life having performed with ensembles such as the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Illinois Chamber Orchestra, Peoria Symphony Orchestra, Millikin/Decatur Symphony Orchestra, Mills Brothers, Dave Brubeck, Ringling Brothers Circus, Ice Capades, Decatur Big Band, Broadway Big Band, Four Other Brothers, Sonic Exploration Society, and the West End Trio.

Although music has been his passion, Mr. Reyman has always appreciated the power of the written word. Having published several music instructional books for brass and jazz musicians as well as the Cyrus Brandt crime thriller series (Twister's Wake, The Path, and Deadly Crop), he will soon release the 4th book in that series.

His saga, FROM THE BOHEMIAN HILLS, is scheduled for release this spring. Be watching for the announcement of his book launching of this work of historical fiction.
