Dan Cassenti is the author of The Mental Representation of Goals, published by VDM-Verlag. His Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Penn State helps give his characters depth and mental richness to drive compelling stories. He lives in Maryland, the home state of his two greatest heroes, Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman, who risked their lives to defend the rights of others.
