Texas Stready (1967-) is more than a survivor, she’s a champion…and her writing is like having a conversation with her. Other than authentic, most of her accolades are ones the average person wouldn't find credible.

Using all she learned in the streets to create a productive life that helps others is what telling her story has done. It helps make sense of the senseless and charts out the thinking that caused her life to spiral out of control.

The life she now lives is fully dedicated to helping folks recognize the lies they believe. For decades she cunningly calculated ways to avoid the truth. Now her life’s work is saturated in reality, and everything about Texas Stready refuses to diminish truth.

We're all addicts. Some are addicted to things, others to emotions, and many to the addict themselves. Founder of A Radical Difference, Texas does a daily Facebook word of encouragement, and a YouTube weekly vlog. She also travels and speaks in prisons, jails, rehabs, schools, churches, civic groups—wherever they'll listen. And she says it like she sees it. It's a gift she’s formed from the ashes of her past.

Today, Texas lives her life with boldness, clarity, and all the way on purpose.
