Jennifer Wood

Jennifer Wood was born in Newcastle, UK. After graduating from the University of Reading with a teaching qualification and a Masters in Social Development and Sustainable Livelihoods, she spent time travelling the world as a private teacher. Jennifer's books are inspired by her real-life adventures. Her books were inspired by her charity work in Kenya, where she is founder and director of an educational charity for vulnerable children, Hands Up! Education in Action. Jennifer is currently establishing an educational centre for children in Northumberland, whilst writing more Frances and Billy adventures and completing a Masters in Education Leadership.
