Annette Smith Bisbee

Annette Smith Bisbee, (L. Annette Smith) grew up in southeast Missouri in the home of home missions’ pastors, Cecil E. And Opal A. Smith. In 1973, she and her sisters, Sue and Naomi, recorded a gospel album, “To God Be the Glory,” at the Happy Goodman Studio. She also sang one of her own compositions on a worship tape for a locally based ministry, and she has written devotions for various religious publications.

Coming from a family of 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls, Annette has many memories of her childhood which are sweet and lasting. Many of those memories are shared in her writings.

Since she and her husband retired, they’ve enjoyed traveling and spending time in Colorado where they have property. They also enjoy dining at new restaurants which pop up on their scenic routes, but mostly, just hanging out at home watching a good movie or reading.

She is a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and relishes in family time. She is married to Jim Bisbee.
