Jovannah Bar

Jovannah Bär (Jovannah von Söhsten (30-01-1997)) was born in Utrecht, the Netherlands, to Dutch/Indonesian parents, grew up in Muiderberg, and then moved to live on her own in Hilversum in 2015. For three years she worked different jobs at a restaurant, piano shop and a coffee shop while finishing Higher General Secondary Education. Her first publication (July 2017) was a collaboration, at a request of a UK based charity fundraiser called "Invisible Voices". Her second publication was a collaboration with Craig Neesam, who asked her to write a poem on love to add to his poetry bundle "The Oaks" in August 2017. This resulted in a poem called "Anatomy of Love" which was later revised to suit Jovannah's first solo publication "Seasoned Eyes Are Beaming" which was published in April 2018. She is now starting her Bachelor of Arts in Utrecht and plans to become a journalist one day.
