William E. Lewis was born in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and grew up in Richmond, Virginia. Bill holds a Masters Degree in Operations Research Engineering and Undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida and University of Miami, respectively. For forty years he worked in the Information Technology industry and started with General Electric at the Kennedy Space Center as a real-time programmer on the Apollo Spacecraft project. He then joined IBM and retired after 30 years as a Senior Instructor, Systems Programmer, and Quality Assurance Manager. He has lectured all over the world and has authored 8 books. The first 7 books relate to Information Technology. The latest book shown as the last item in the book list and published in 2017 is a Christian Book entitled "A Voice from the Heavens". This book is a very powerful which demonstrates that science and the Bible can coexist, and that the intellect and the spirit can thrive together. Bill loves Astronomy and is a member of the Texas Astronomy Society (TAS) which meets regularly at the university of Texas, Dallas. He is a strong Christian, who has attended church and participated in Bible studies his whole life. He and his wife, Carol, are Certified Stephen Ministers and were trained to provide one-to-one care to individuals experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, relocation, or separation due to military deployment. They have counseled numerous church members over the years.
