Warren Beatty

Dr. Warren Beatty was a Professor of Statistics who specialized in helping executives use statistics and spreadsheets to make better business decisions. Realizing that most spreadsheet 'built-in' statistics capabilities were inappropriate for a majority of business decisions, he developed his own set of nonparametric statistics spreadsheets. He decided to put his experiences and spreadsheets into book form when they were well received by executives who made demonstrably better decisions. He holds a B.S. in Statistics, an MBA, and a Ph.D. in Statistics with a minor in decision making. Currently retired, he was a consultant to numerous gulf coast businesses of all sizes for over thirty years.

By the way, his mother was NOT a big fan of the actor. He was named for his paternal grandfather.
