Michael Gill

Michael Gill was born in Leeds to Irish parents. He currently lives in Hertfordshire but is still a keen supporter of Leeds United.

After a long career in Retail and Sales he returned to his first love; Writing.

He has had articles published in The Irish Post, Ireland's Own and The Yorkshire Evening Post.

'Bielsa = Leeds' (2019) is a memoir which covers the first season that the legendary Argentine Coach spent at Leeds United from a fan's standpoint.

'Bielsa Delivers - Leeds go Home' (2020) covers 'El Loco's' eventual triumph as he guided Leeds back to the Premier League with his unique brand of football.

Wonder if its Woolies (2020) is Mike's first novel. It is a nostalgic and amusing look at retailing in the 1960's.
