So obsessed with fashion is Alexandra Fullerton, she even managed to incorporate a clothes shopping visit to Selfridges on her first date with the man who is now her husband.
Since then she has amassed an ever expanding wardrobe of over eighty pairs of jeans and, at the last count, a shoe collection teetering into treble figures. But as well as being a shopping fanatic, Alex’s day job as a stylist and fashion writer sees her well qualified to write her first book, How To Dress.
With seventeen years experience on magazines, Alex has worked on an array of British publications including Glamour, Grazia and Stella - along with a seven year stint as fashion director of Stylist - and contributed to international editions of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Alexandra has regularly appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour to discuss everything from the craze for clogs to new season trends.
Currently working freelance as a stylist, writer - and now author - Alexandra has openly declared that she prefers shoes to some people and posts pictures of pairs that take her fancy on Instagram @alexandrafullerton
In her spare time Alex loves to disprove the theory that people in the fashion world don’t eat by experimenting with new recipes to feed her friends and family. How To Dress was written with the support of an endless stream of Earl Grey tea (black, half a sugar).
