I am an 'over forty' year old writer who has been trapped inside the body of a finance manager for most of my working life. The Shift - Discovery is my first full-length novel, and as many times as I have gone through it, I am sure I've missed something in the editing. Please forgive me that. The idea for the story permeated every aspect of my life until I sat down and wrote it. Scenes came to me in the shower, while driving, and even in dreams when I slept. It basically kicked me in the rear and got me back to my first love, which is writing.
