Let me say how much of an honour it was to co-author The Nova Project 70 with Fabion Reeves, based on his original screenplay. The man is very creative, fitting into the science fiction genre. The discourse obtained from collaborating with Fabion on The Nova Project 70 has been rewarding. I immediately envisioned this project as a colossal writing assignment and was thrilled to accept the task. Fabion is a creative genius in the first order; this is evident in his originality. I hope to work with Fabion again in the future.
I was born in Harlem (New York City), and my creative writing skills flourished as a student at the Beekman Hill International School (P.S. 59 Manhattan). Moreover, I perfected those skills while majoring in English Literature at Touro College. Regarding genre, my principal motivation in writing science fiction came, circuitously, while studying lots of science (chemistry) and reading lots of fiction books by Stephen King, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Ray Bradbury, Ian Fleming, and J.R.R.Tolkien. Alongside of that, I love reading philosophy, as well as the works of James Baldwin, Langston Hughes, W.E.B. DuBois, and Maya Angelou. A contributing factor was working as a page at the New York City Public Library under its president, Dr. Vartan Gregorian. This was nothing less than inspiring. At the library, books encapsulated me, and I enjoyed working in that type of environment. Over time, I went on to work as an associate editor in various aspects of journalism (politics, music, fashion, and entertainment), at several newspapers and magazines in New York City and South Carolina. My goal is to expand my writing with the purpose that it will positively impact an international audience of people. I hope to inspire billions of readers in a fun, knowledgeable, and exciting way.
