Malcolm Harris

Malcolm Harris is an award-winning writer, artist, game designer, screenwriter, and all-around pop-culture powerhouse from Dallas, Texas. Often hailed as “the most creative man alive,” he’s the imaginative force behind an entire multiverse of characters and worlds—from Youthquake and Princess Lucinda to Witch Girls Adventures, Adventurers Born, and Farsia: The Maelstrom Lands.

A true pioneer in the industry, Harris made history as the first African American RPG designer/writer to create and lead a complete role-playing world with Nemesis: A Perfect World, coining the term “Superpunk.” His creative reach spans comics, novels, and tabletop games—each infused with diverse heroes, sharp wit, and boundless imagination.

When he’s not writing or designing new worlds, Malcolm’s probably cooking up something delicious, rolling dice at a LARP, or debating the finer points of geekdom with fellow “pro-nerds.” Still living the dream, he remains a fixture at conventions, bookstores, and anywhere creativity dares to play.
