Andrew Benedict-Nelson

Andrew Benedict-Nelson has built a career helping people think more clearly and creatively about some of the world’s most difficult problems. As a principal of Insight Labs and GreenHouse: The Center of Social Innovation, he developed strategies with leaders from the U.S. State Department, NASA, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education, Harvard Medical School, and many others.

Since 2014 Andrew has served as Innovator in Residence at the University of Southern California’s Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. He is currently teaching two courses in that program that help students bring their most ambitious ideas to life.

A Midwesterner by upbringing if not by birth, Andrew lives in Gardner, Kansas with his wife and two dogs and a cat. His hobbies include collecting modern cheap print, country/western vinyl, and aviation ephemera.
