Award winning illustrator & book designer, Lucy Smith specialises in children's picture books. Experienced in the publishing world, she is also an art director & project manager for self publishers, over seeing the entire publishing process at Authologie.

As an experienced former school teacher & psychology graduate, Lucy has an in-depth knowledge of language development & the role high quality literature & illustrations play in encouraging a life long love of reading. Her past career paved the way for her success as a children’s book illustrator.

Lucy lives in Cheshire, England, with her husband and two sons. She works with clients from all over the world & loves incorporating different cultures, landscapes, identities & lifestyles, while embracing diversity in children’s literature.
