Robert Runte

Robert Runte, PhD, is Senior Editor with EssentialEdits and SFeditor. He has provided developmental editing on over 40 traditionally published books, primarily speculative fiction. his own short fiction has been published over 140 times, including in 'Best of' collections, such as Canadian Shorts II and Best of Metastellar 1, 3 & 5. Dr. Runte has won Aurora Awards for his Guide to Canadian Science Fiction, his promotion of Canadian SF, his Keynote Speech at the Academic Conference on Canadian SF&F, and his reviews in the Ottawa Review of Books. His ACCSFF talk was subsequently published in Canadian Fantastic in Focus (Allan Weiss, ed.) He was a GoH at the 52nd WorldCon and the Editor Guest at When Words Collide. Fantasy great, Dave Duncan, left his incomplete manuscripts for Robert to finish and publish.
