Simons Acquah

My motivation for writing children's stories is very simple.

In my opinion, reading is the one gift every adult must endeavor to give to children under his or her care. I enjoy reading and have learnt a lot by reading, so this is my way of giving back.

I have always been fascinated by stories that emphasize lessons from animals. It is truly fascinating the values of hard work, love, unity, honesty and many life lessons I am able to share with children through animals.

I cannot over emphasize my enthusiasm to encourage many to live a full life, appreciating opportunities and using their passion to make a difference. I am passionate about teaching character building through children's literature and allegory.

Born in Cape Coast Ghana, from the Fante tribe of the Akan, I grew up in Kumasi, the heart of the Ashanti kingdom. I'm a true Royal and a son of Africa. I hold a Bachelors Degree from University of Ghana, Legon and an MBA from Lincoln University in Missouri, USA.

I currently live in North Beach Maryland. I'm a member of the Twin Beach Players; a non- profit Theater group and a very active member in Faith Assemblies of God, Lothian MD. I love my wife Kate and my three amazing kids. Henry, Simons Jr. and Martha.
