Are you looking to have better connection with your child? Do you want to create the kind of bond that lasts not just past tempers and outbursts but decades and difficulties? Are you eager to have the kind of relationship so that even after your child is grown, they see you as one of their best friends and biggest supporters?

Deborah Woods, NCC helps moms do this and more. She is the passion behind Magnetic Moms. Deborah is fiercely committed to helping moms and kids enjoy life together.

Deborah Woods has the perfect combination of in-the-trenches mom-experience, years of study and more than 15,000 hours playing with kids to help them become their happiest, most connected selves.

With 30+ years of professional experience, she’s worked with hundreds of kids and their moms, dads, and grandparents to build the kinds of connections most families crave.

Deborah comes by her knowledge and compassion not just from books, but from her own experience. “Facing overwhelming struggles as a mom, I was determined to triumph over the challenges that stood in the way of my son’s happy childhood. I discovered that connection, not discipline, was the answer I had been looking for to help my family. And play was the quickest, most effective way to develop it.”

Not just any play. Rather, a specific kind you can’t find by heading to just any playground, mom-and-kid hour or parenting book.

Deborah equips moms with play therapy trade secrets so that they can have happy kids in 30 minutes a week. Despite having made her share of mistakes along the way, Deborah raised a successful and brilliant adult son who’s overcome the challenges of ADHD, learning disabilities, and anxiety and enjoys a close, supportive relationship with her.

Deborah put her years of schooling, heightened training and real-world experience together to create a unique program for parents. It reveals step-by-step how to have a happy child in 30 minutes a week.

Deborah’s passion is fueled by research that shows that Deborah’s techniques used in creating connection in play therapy are even more effective when moms learn them and use them with their own children. “These professional secrets are powerful tools to enhance and deepen parent-child relationships.”

“What lights me up about this work,” Deborah says, “is knowing that I can make a mom and child’s future better. The things my son, my husband, and I struggled with prepared me to enable moms, dads, grandparents, and kids to avoid the years of pain and frustration we suffered. Now that’s a happy ending everyone can enjoy.”

Deborah’s expertise has been honored with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s of Arts degree in Psychological Counseling, a National Counselor Certification, and a State of Missouri License in Professional Counseling. Her most treasured awards are those hand-made by kids in her playroom and given from the heart.
