Mikael Lundt writes thrillers, science fiction and fantasy with humor: sometimes darkly threatening, sometimes absurdly funny, sometimes fabulously thoughtful. Published so far are the fantasy fairy tale "Tagebuch des Schicksals", the absurd-comic road trip "Die Weltengang-Maschine", the space adventure "Himmelfahrt mit Hyperspeed" and "Fressfeind", a thriller enriched with sci-fi elements. In June 2021, "NAGLFAR - Ark of the Gods", a thriller with mythological and technological elements, was published.

The aspects of technology, nature, the supernatural, distant worlds and the everyday do not act as opposites in the books, but form a broad basis for the narratives as equally placed elements.
