Brian Conroy

Brian Conroy is the author of the memoir Still Smiling After All These Years and two books of humorous essays entitled, You Don't Hear Me Complaining and I'm Just Sayin'. His collections of Buddhist parables, Stepping Stones, and Lotus Petals preserve the wisdom and humor of Buddhist folklore. In Shooting Stars and Blazing Guitars he retells classic and obscure tales of legendary musicians, and uncovers San Jose's forgotten musical history in South Bay Flashback. For thirty-five years Conroy taught theatre and public speaking in public schools, and storytelling at San Jose State University. He is the author of the illustrated children's books Prince Dighavu and Bright Moon.
