P. A. De Voe

P.A. De Voe is an anthropologist with a PhD in Asian studies. Eventually, her interest in historical China and its culture led her to write stories set in the late 14th century Ming Dynasty: The "Mei-hua Trilogy" (Hidden, Warned, and Trapped); Judge Lu's Case Files, a collection of crime & mystery short stories; "A Ming Dynasty Mystery" series (Deadly Relations, No Way to Die, and Justice Delayed, Justice Denied); and more.

Warned won a Silver Falchion Award for Best International Mystery; Trapped was nominated for an Agatha Award and was a finalist for a young adult Silver Falchion award. Judge Lu's Case Files was also a finalist for a Silver Falchion award. Justice Delayed, Justice Denied was a Next Generation Indie Book Award finalist. Her short story, "The Immortality Mushroom," (a Judge Lu story) was in the Anthony Award winning anthology Murder Under the Oaks edited by Art Taylor.
