Daniel C. Lewis is a nationally recognized speaker and mentor on notarial issues, conducting workshops across the country that address innovation within a diverse range of industry topics including underwriting, title procedures, marketing, contract negotiation, effective use of social media, closing procedures and more. In 2010 Daniel was named the National Notary Association's Notary of the Year. In that same year he was honored by the Indiana Secretary of State as an Honorary Secretary of State that same year. Daniel serves as a National Notary Association Ambassdor in his area.
Daniel is one of the founding board members of and current President of the Indiana Notary Association. As President of the Indiana Notary Association Daniel has advocated for Indiana notaries during court hearings as well as during the legislative process. Daniel has attended and testified at Senate and Representative Committee meetings as well as participated in round table discussions on new notary laws. Daniel was able to successfully lobby to raise notary fees in Indiana to the highest they have been in more than fifty years. Daniel was also recognized by the Indiana Secretary of State's Office on his participation in helping structure the remote notary laws in Indiana.
Daniel is also an Approved Instructor for the Indiana Department of Insurance to teach continuing education courses for Indiana notaries. Daniel has taught such workshops as remote notarization, how to starting a notary business, Ethics, how to conduct a real estate closing and much more.
